Location: on the corner of Smáragata/Hringbraut. The sculpture Pack of Horses shows four horses racing eastwards. It is located at the old Hringbraut, on the corner of Smáragata. The animals’ intense energy touches the heartstrings of any horse lover who passes, and at the same time it references the role of the horse as a mode of transport by this road which once was the busiest one in the city. The work is romantic in nature, and what looks like four horses might just as easily be one horse at different stages of his unbridled racing.
