Sólveig’s subjects reflect her musings on time and material, history and the memory ingrained in the material. In her work, she explores the line between the material and its transformation into visual work. The piece consists of upside down coloured jars in tight rows on a small wooden table. It is in the spirit of other similar work by Sólveig during the eighties and nineties, which were often created from found material.
