Elín Hansdóttir was born in 1980. She studied at the Iceland University of the Arts and finished her MA from Berlin Weißensee School of Art in 2006. She is preoccupied with man’s perception and experience of their environment and she can be said to charm the viewer and confuse them, using deceptions and illusions. Her work has been exhibited in group exhibitions and solo exhibitions in Europe and Africa.
