Location: Klambratún. In his work Reversal, Guðjón Ketilsson has created a form which resembles a house, with the roof facing up on one side and down on the other. The sculpture evokes ideas of camera obscura, the original camera, which projects the subject upside-down on a wall inside a dark box. The work engages in a particular dialogue with its environment at Klambratún. It is ideal for playing in, children can crawl through it and curl up inside it. Small holes in the top part open up a view of the sky during daytime, but when it’s dark, lighting at the bottom of the piece emits tiny lights through the same holes.
