Haraldur Jónsson consistently strives to make visible, stimulate and give form to that which is normally hidden, mundane or without dimension. Each new work requires a new approach to the material and medium. In Aim, the artist takes plexiglass, wooden dowel and make-up, isolates a moment and elevates our attention to the materials at hand. Hidden, there may be an image of something like touch, balance and the unspoken.
