In the sculpture Prayer, we see a child praying, deep in confidential conversation with God. The sculpture also seems to show us love, shelter and motherly love. The child puts its hands together in prayer, while the mother supports and embraces it. This work can be interpreted as an ode to the mother-child relationship, but also a symbol of the child’s hopes and dreams.
